I really am wanting to get better at our small family doing something outside on Saturday mornings. We've succeeded so far when we set a plan to go out and play with Kiefer.

I have hiking boots, but not something that would be good for romping around where we live.

Perfection. An exciting schedule...

It's been fun lately.
Colby and Camille had their baby. She's a doll. Brynne Louise Thayer.
The weather has been purrfect.
Last Friday we went to a Maine Red Claws game.WIN.. against the #1 team.
We had stake conference last weekend.
Monday. 2 perfect things. House. 24.
Tonight we went to a Portland Pirates game. WIN.. in a shoot-off.
Tomorrow.. well class...
Thursdays: We hang out with the Thayers and watch Idol and Survivor.
Friday- Youth activity
Saturday- a break and I think it's supposed to be beautiful. Maybe a walk with Willie and Kiefer??
Next week: Spring break- nothing too special in the week but for the weekend we (Willie, Me, Anita, Ryan, Ashley, Nikki, Will, and Melanie) will head to CT. We're staying at the Mohegan Sun and going to a Bon Jovi concert. We'll go to Ashley's cheer competition in RI. Then we're going to an indoor water park in CT. It should be alot of fun. We dont get to do things often all together and I think everyone is really happy to be going together.
Then a week after that and all in the same day is my bday, Easter, and General Conference. That will be a wonderful day!!

And did I mention that the weather has been perfect?

Ok- So I'm gonna have to take a picture like this soon~!
And it makes me REALLY happy.
Last year when we were visiting our friends Greg and Mad in San Francisco, I put on this pair of shorts that I had.. and the button popped right off. That was really upsetting.
That was August.
At the end of August, and the beginning of September, I started asking my sister in law, Ashley to go to the gym with me. We went to Zumba and Step class or would just go to the gym. And then one day I got on the scale. And it was a scary scary number that I had never seen that was looking back at me.
I mean.. that number has haunted me. I never want to see it again.
Right then and there I turned to Ashley and I said, "We're going to do something about this. We're gonna beat "the flab".

And just to let you know, since then I have lost 16 lbs.

I bought some new jeans at the end of July (when I couldnt really fit into some other jeans.. ) and now I can pull them away INCHES!!

I just had to share that I am really really proud of myself. My husband has encouraged me alot and I have alot of people around me that are also working on their image and they're great to talk to. The iPhone app Lose It has also been a great tool to use. You can even add friends and they can see if you're sticking to your exercise and calories and meeting your goals. When I lose another 1 1/2 lbs, I'm celebrating with some new nice sunglasses. And when I hit my target weight there's gonna be a party!!

France. Why do I have to wait 8 months to see you!!??

So, we've been planning to go to France since we were married. Willie served 2 years in the Paris France Mission and absolutely loves the people there. He can't wait to see some of the families he taught the gospel and those who made him feel at home in their country. I can't wait to go either! We've already made plans for what cities we're visiting and what days we're going to be where. What we HAVEN'T planned is what we're going to do while we're in Paris!! So many things to choose from and we're only going to be in Paris for 3 of the days!!

Honestly, it sounds like a completely perfect plan.
The movie Anastasia had it right, Paris hold the key to her heart.
I think I'll fall in love with this place.

Did I mention we got a GREAT deal on tickets at StudentUniverse??

So last nite after church basketball, Willie and I were giving two of the young men from our church a ride home. They started talking about someone's job, qualifying that person to wear a pocket protector.

One of them did not know what a pocket protector was, and so Willie said, "If you don't know what one is, that's a good thing...you're cool."

So really tho.. are you not cool if you know how to use a computer? Willie gives me a hard time that I love learning things about the computer.

Last nite I said, "Don't you think it's just so exciting to rip something apart, put it back together, and it works!!??...or you hope it works???!!!

He was like.. "Uhhh.. no.."

Gimme a break hun! There is no limit to the fun in computer world!

But i really do honestly love learning about how they work, I'd even like to build my own computer if I had the spare money to do it.

So, just call me a geek.. and would someone please buy me this pocket protector? It's way cute!
